Q. How much will my order cost?
A. Orders vary in cost according to the nature and degree of difficulty or ease involved in
producing them. Many variables are considered when figuring a price quote such as time,
materials, quantities and length of time allowed for delivery.
Specialty fabrics, thread and rush orders will all incur additional charges.
Q. How long will it take for my order to be processed?
A. The length of time to process an order is also subject to many variables. Difficulty or ease in
production will affect delivery time. During the year we normally carry about a two week work
load, however nearer the holiday season that can change and we can not promise any orders
taken after Thanksgiving by Christmas. Availability of specialty fabrics and threads is an issue.
Q. Can I place my order over the phone?
A. You can call to discuss details of your order and obtain quotes on price and delivery time but a
signed, dated and detailed purchase order complete with illustrations indicating placement,
colors, font styles, sizes and other relevant information is required before any work will begin.
In many cases a deposit will be required unless you are supplying your own items.
Q. What if I do not want my customer to know that I contracted Zig Zag Applique to do my orders?
A. Zig Zag Applique promises to maintain the utmost confidentiality at your specific request. Your
business is just exactly that, your business! In cases where a conflict of interest should arise,
we will be sure to alert you to the situation, we appreciate your repeat business.
Q. What if my customer brings me a well known, registered logo to be reproduced?
A. Copyright law is a very serious thing, however many times obtaining permission is easier than
you may think. A simple call to the legal department of the company owning the logo can clear
up a lot of unknown details and filing a form with them can result in a mutual agreement that
only cost you a stamp and a phone call.
Q. What if I do not want to pay sales tax on my order?
A. If you are in another state you won't have to. If you are in Missouri a Mo. Form 149 will be
required before the time of billing or sales tax will automatically be added to your invoice.
If you are the end-user and do not have a 'sales for resale' situation tax will be added.
Q. Do you have a catalog or brochure with pricing for your work?
A. Yes. Zig Zag Applique has a general price guide that is available on request. Your design may
resemble one of our lay-outs but an accurate price quote will still have to be calculated by our
staff. We will be sure to factor all the details concerning your design and do our best to help you
find the most cost effective solution for your order.
Q. How can I pay for my order?
A. Zig Zag Applique accepts cash, check or PayPal payments. An invoice will be issued at the
time your order is complete. Shipping can be calculated before you pay and all new accounts
will be C.O.D. until a credit form is filed in our office unless you want to pay ahead of shipping.
